Young Readers Arabic Reading Program

The Young Readers Arabic program is aimed at non-Arab students who wish to embark on learning the Arabic Language as a foreign language. The program aims to provide young learners a fun learning curve with a native Arab teacher who will help young learners adapt to a new language through interactive live classes, read aloud stories, rhymes, games, and discussions.

Objectives:

  1. Develop good listening skills leading to the acquisition of age-appropriate vocabulary through read aloud sessions.
  2. Understand and communicate with the help of the teacher through themes and stories with dialogues
  3. Develop correct articulation of Arabic words and expressions.
  4. Build confidence to speak and communicate in Arabic at an early age.

All of the above is designed to take children to the higher levels of Targheeb’s advanced Arabic Studies curriculum offered online. Children will not require the Young Readers program from Grade 1 onwards if they would continue with the Targheeb curriculum.

The lessons would insha Allah be fun and entertaining with some great resources from alifbaataa, al Safeer and others
